God has called us to begin an autism ministry at our home church, New Hope Oahu. Our ministry's mission is to Encourage, Support & Educate families of people with autism and anyone else who's life has been blessed by these special people, in their own ministry God has entrusted them with.
We believe: - God's plan and timing are perfect - God has specifically chosen you for this divine purpose - These special children and adults are blessings in our lives - Now, more than ever, there is HOPE for people with autism We will meet every month. Every quarter we will hold an educational seminar to give the autism community access to experts on various subjects that may help the people with autism in our lives. The purpose of our regular meetings will be to support each other on our journey, and form a community through fellowship. We will learn each other's stories and talk about God's purpose in our lives. “For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children…Then he took the children into his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.” (Mark 10:14,16, NLT) |
